Black is a great color to use, not only is it simple and elegant but it pretty much goes with every color you can think off. So here are some ideas on using black without making your guests feel like they were tricked into coming to the Adams family's wedding.

I would suggest keeping it clean, don't over do it, black is already a rich and dark color, personally I would pair it with something lighter like white, pink, yellow or light green.

Vlisco

Have you ever heard of a company called Vlisco? well they are a textile manufacturing company and they design and produce colorful fashion fabrics that form an essential part of the lively West and Central African culture. Back home we call it "Wax Hollandais"

So last night I was looking at their new collection and I had the thought that some of their design would be fabulous as wedding dresses.
 

 

I know it's not your typical white wedding dress

 

But you have to agree that they are just fabulous and your guests will definitely remember your dress.
